The Emerald Ash Borer is quickly making its way
across Ohio. State officials are cracking down on the hauling of
firewood from infested counties and one of the target enforcement areas
are campgrounds. We have already had several off-season visits
from the state.
Everyone enjoys the beauty our mature ash trees
bring to the campground and all it takes is one sign of infestation to
force us to cut down all of our ash trees. It is also illegal to
move ash trees and all other hardwood firewood out of Ohio's quarantined
areas, so please do not bring firewood in from other counties.
We all have a part in the protection our our
trees and we thank-you for your cooperation and understanding.

is taking to protect our remaining ash trees please visit the Ohio
